Imagine a place where you can go and be accepted, a place where no one judgesyou, a place that you can feel safe.

One place comes to my mind and thatplace is called Camp P.E.A.C.E.!

In the few days that I was at Camp P.E.A.C.E. I learned so many things. I went inthere to meet people and make new friends (and for the food), but what I cameout with was much more.

I came out with knowledge of people that I didn’t even know, I came outwith knowledge about close friends of mine that I didn’t even know. I came outwith new friends and how to handle people that feel “different”. I leaned thateveryone is different, but also similar in many ways. I learned that no matterwhere you go, you will never be alone, that you will always have friends andpeople just like you around.

Camp P.E.A.C.E. introduced me to many different kinds of people - black, homosexuals, “fat” people, jocks, and religious people - and I love them all. Ihave made so many friends from there who are the nicest people that I willever meet and who are very open-minded!
