Contact your Legislators

Legislative Updates:
Receive weekly email alerts on state and federal policies that impact those living in poverty and some environmental justice issues. You will receive briefs on bills, voting records, and sample messages to use when contacting your legislator.

Purple Heart Advocates:
J oin a core team of deeply committed advocates, passionate about making a difference. Purple Heart Advocates make a commitment to respond to one Legislative Action Alert each week and notify Interfaith Council of that response. Their responses are compiled by the Advocacy Coordinator and used to demonstrate to legislators the number of members we have who care deeply about the issues we address.

Contact us to commit to being a Purple Heart Advocate
