Circle of Caring Healing Celebrations
A Spiritual response to violence against women.
Renouncing the destruction caused by violence against women.

Proclaiming healing power for resistance and transformation.
During October, national “Domestic Violence Awareness Month”, Circle of Caring, a program of the Interfaith Council, traditionally hosts healing services. Held in places of worship, these services highlight the courage of women who live with and leave domestic violence. The service includes candle-lighting honoring the memory of women victims and raises up their stories in song, dance, scripture, music, drama, poetry and story.

Watch this page for information on sites, dates and times for Healing Services in October 2005.
